This app does not work at all. I am in Costa Rica and the is no map! Beware! This is a rip off!

This is just about the worst app you can buy. I am now in Costa Rica and the app does not work and serves no function. Do not waste your money.

This app is completely useless. Half of the buttons dont work. It is unable to find even the most basic of landmarks/locations. It is completely useless for our travel to Costa Rica and I would like a refund. Please contact me.

We used this for 10 days in Costa Rica. It barely works, but given the lack of street names and addresses, it is better than nothing. It crashes, that is, it turns itself off continually when following a route. When it turns on, you have to set it up; it doesnt remember anything inception recent landmarks. The way we used it was thatll I would plot out a route before we left and then use the app to ensure we were on the correct road. It usually followed our local,ion on the map, so gave us confidence that we were headed in the correct direction. There is no planning mode, so you cannot pick two locations from their list and plot a route. There are only icons on the map, no words, so you cant identify icons along the way except by touching them. Must have a second person to make it work. (They will spend a lot of time restarting the app). In San Jose, its route may not get you there because of the one way streets, but knowing where you are going is helpful. Some icons are not exactly at the correct location, but being within a block helps a lot. When you put a route in and want to zoom out to see the entire route, plan to do it a few times since as you zoom, it will crash (turn off). Bottom line: its barely worth the $10, but it did get us where we were going, when we worked around its many limitations.

This app is basically useless. Dont bother. Its a waste of time and money.

I have this installed on my iPhone 5 with IOS6. When navigating, the app crashes consistently after a few minutes of tracking. A total waste of my money. Of course when you restart the app it has no memory of the previous navigation so you have to enter everything again. Constantly stopping to do this is annoying and a total waste of time. The maps leave a lot to be desired when zooming out the roads disappear. Finding out how to enter an address is fun, and cities are among the POIs. The POI list needs a read through the see any categories you might not have thought of when you were searching for your destination. I would like a refund but I dont see me getting one.

I purchased this app for our trip to Costa Rica and used it to navigate from San Jose to Monteverde. From Monteverde we used it again to travel Playa Coyote, on the Nicoya Peninsula, and back to San Jose. I have to say this app worked flawlessly both on my iPone 4S and iPad. Its probably worth mentioning the iPad didnt had a GPS chip built in, but we plugged in a Bad Elf GPS receiver to it, and it performed fine.

Dont waste your money on this app, couldnt get it to work regardless of where I was in Costa Rica.

Id call this the Yugo of GPS programs. Bare bones, no frills at all and not particularly user friendly but it will probably get you there. This app has no voice commands or aural alerts, a very non-detailed map and misleading driving instructions; for example, it will list every bend in a road as an upcoming turn. Without any voice, you really need a second person to monitor the app for turns or youll miss them unless youre constantly watching the display. Many things I was looking for in the data base werent there. Next time I go to Costa Rica Ill definitely be looking for a better app or just go buy a Garmin with a Central American data base.

Not one thing about this application worked. I would have been better of and more satisfied had I just flushed $10 down the toilet.

What a total waste of $10, deleted the app 10 minutes after installation as it is totally useless!

Totally worthless. Freezes constantly.

Map is missing many roads. App locks up often. Even when it is not locking up, the erratic performance and stuttering is unusable. I suggest mapswithme or forever map as an alternatives that actually work.

I used this gps app during an 8 day trip where i traveled from san jose to manuel antonio, monte verde, la fortuna and back to san jose. It got me everywhere i needed to go with no problems. You dont need to use any data with this app as it downloads all maps to the phone. It may not be the best gps, but for the traveller on a budget, you cant beat the price.

Bought Christmas Eve and it froze right away, never got it to work...really needed this to travel in Costa Rica and just froze and never seem to work from the beginning.

This app doesn’t do what is advertises. Even under wifi every time I clicked on something it told me that it couldn’t calculate a route. The map often froze or would not load even though it was supposed to be on the hard drive. I’m using newest devices and IOS and was in the locations that they mention in their Dec. 5, 2013 update as having improved features. Total waste of money (which I would like back)

Not only will you lose your $10 but you will be stuck in Costa Rica without a GPS

The map itself seems pretty detailed, has a lot of POIs and good details on road and street info,but..... It has no city labels not even San Jose. Its hard to map where you want to go if no cities are listed. If that could be fixed it would be worth the money but as is it is useless.

This application is non functional. It doesnt provide the services they advertise. It is useless and a hoax. It should be removed from the App Store.
